UPDATE: Surprise ICE detention center will use TRIPLE the amount of water

Hey everyone!
A new City of Surprise Government water analysis report for the ICE detention center says it's now projected to use TRIPLE the amount of water they originally expected. At peak use, it could use up to 380,000 gallons A DAY and would be the biggest water user in the entire city. And, it will cost $8 million to upgrade the water system. Every single time more information comes out about this detention center, the worse it gets.
The city of Social Circle in GA actually locked the water meter at a warehouse DHS was trying to turn into an ICE detention center. They said it would stay locked until DHS could explain how they would get enough water without overwhelming the city’s infrastructure. But Councilmember Chris Judd is saying he doesn't believe Surprise can do the same thing. Why not? If another city can do it, why can't Surprise?
