Keep Hooper’s fields open for youth sports
The Issue

This is precisely what the public fields in Hooper offer, yet they are currently at risk of being closed to our youth sports teams under the pretext of field maintenance due to the drought.

For many of these kids, the time they spend on these fields provides them the structure and joy they desperately need amidst their daily challenges. Closing these fields could rob them of essential developmental opportunities and a sense of belonging.

We propose the implementation of a rotational maintenance schedule.
