The Hinsdale D86 School Board is considering dropping funding for boys gymnastics at both schools:  Hinsdale South and Hinsdale Central.  Please sign this petition asking the school board to continue to fund boys gymnastics.  This is an agenda item for the May 9th school board meeting so please consider attending to show your support for the gymnastics programs at both schools.

Hinsdale South’s program has been around since the school opened in the late 60’s. Since the team’s inception, there have been too many all conference and state qualifiers to list in this petition.  We have had the same coach for 22 years. Our team is comprised of a diverse group of young men who come together to pursue a common goal.  The team has grown markedly over the past 3 years through peer to peer recruitment.  Many of these young men came to the sport without any prior gymnastics experience and it is amazing to see the progress they make week to week & year to year. Gymnastics promotes strength - both physical and mental, teamwork, and leadership skills.  Please sign the petition to keep boys gymnastics at both Hinsdale D86 high schools!
