Keep Whangaparāoa’s Green Spaces (KWGS) releases YouTube Video addressing the Long Term Viability of  Gulf Harbour Country Club

KWGS believes that the Gulf Harbour Country Club (GHCC) golf course is a viable business with a vital role, along with the Gulf Harbour Marina, in anchoring Gulf Harbour as per the original master-planned community. We have today released a video in support of that view. The video examines and rejects the narrative of the Resource Consent submitted to the Auckland Council by the present owner of the Gulf Harbour Country Club.

Please note this video was compiled before the recent fires. These devastating fires, which have which have resulted in the total loss of the main GHCC clubhouse and associated buildings, do not change our resolve to retain and restore the Golf Course and its Green Space.

Our videos are aimed at better informing both current KWGS supporters and a wider audience of concerns about the future of Green Space on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula, the closure of the Gulf Harbour Country Club and golf course and its impact on local businesses and the wider community.

Please view, like, comment and share these videos with friends and anyone else who may have an interest in KWGS and our fight to retain the Whangaparāoa Peninsula’s Green Space. Subscribe to the KWGS channel and activate the Notifications Bell Icon so you don’t miss out on our future releases.

We read and respond to every comment. If you have suggestions about topics that future videos could cover, please let us know. Your ideas are welcome. Contact us here:  comms@kwgnz.org
