Keep Google Classroom as an Option in the Peel District School Board
The Issue
On April 14, 2023, the Peel District School Board directed all teachers to migrate all Google Classroom content to D2L Brightspace starting in September 2024.
Most Peel Teachers currently use Google Classroom, and student surveys have shown that it is also the preferred Virtual Learning Environment for students.
By signing this petition, I support teachers' right to choose whether to use a Virtual Learning Environment in their classes and that the Peel District School Board must continue to provide teachers with the choice to use Google Classroom or D2L Brightspace.
