Global Leadership Academy Southwest has spent the past ten years transforming a school community, improving school climate, expanding opportunities, and serving the children and families of West Philadelphia.

We respectfully ask that the School District of Philadelphia Board of Education allow GLASW to continue serving scholars and families through clear accountability measures, targeted oversight, and a defined improvement plan rather than continuing a non-renewal process that would destabilize the school community and displace more than 500 scholars and their families.

GLASW is not seeking to avoid accountability. We are asking for the opportunity to continue demonstrating growth, implementing corrective actions, and fulfilling the mission of providing access, opportunity, and a world-class educational experience for the children of West Philadelphia.
