To the Advisory Council of the First Friends Weekday Education Program,

We, the undersigned parents and supporters of the First Friends Preschool community, respectfully urge the Advisory Council to reconsider the decision to close First Friends Preschool and Kindergarten after this school year.

First Friends has been an integral part of our community for close to 50 years, providing high-quality early childhood education and nurturing environments for countless children and families. Their commitment to fostering academic, social, and emotional development has positively impacted generations of young learners.

Closing First Friends Preschool and Kindergarten would not only disrupt the lives of current students and their families but also deprive future generations of the opportunity to benefit from its exceptional programs and dedicated staff.

We understand the challenges the preschool may be facing, but we believe that with creative solutions and community support, First Friends can continue to thrive and serve the needs of our community for years to come.

We respectfully request that the Advisory Council explore alternative options to keep First Friends open, including fundraising efforts, partnerships with local organizations, or restructuring the program to ensure its sustainability.
