On January 23, 1990, Melinda Snyder (22) was raped and murdered by Edward Cronell (23) who was the realtor for the house that Melinda was renting a room in.

Melinda had just finished college and was a teacher's assistant.  Cronell broke in the house through the lockbox on the front door.  He had shown the house the week before and Melinda was home.

Cronell was convicted of murder and was sentenced to two life terms + thirty years.  But eligible for parole after twenty years.  He will have only served twenty nine years when he is considered for parole. 

We the undersigned STRONGLY OPPOSE parole for Edward Cronell.  Justice demand he serve the full prison term of life given to him at the sentencing for this heinous crime.
