It is with great sadness to the parents, care givers and children of South Ruilsip, Nestle Avenue Hayes and Uxbridge Early Years Nurseries that we were advised on Thursday 5 August, that these nurseries will permanently  close on 31 December 2022.

These nurseries offers safe, affordable and reliable childcare services in the Hillingdon Borough.

We (parents/care givers) find ourselves in an uncompromising position, as we/our children have built relationships with those that we have entrusted to look after and mould our children over the years.

Furthermore, in the current financial climate where we are facing inflation rates of 13% by the end of the year and record numbers of unemployment, Hillingdon Council are not only
putting pressure on it’s residents, but also the nursery staff.

Alternative nurseries in these area see the cost of full time care being an additional £400.00-£600.00pcm. Moreover, they are putting the staff of the nursery into an unstable economical environment whereby it maybe difficult for them to find a new job.

Can I therefore, please ask you to join us, the parents and carers of the aforementioned nurseries to sign this petition in hope that the council may re-think their decision to remove this childcare provision.

We simply cannot just find another nursery; the people who work at these nurseries are an extension of our families.
