We, the undersigned parents, students, alumni, and community members, respectfully ask the Anderson-Shiro ISD Board of Trustees and district leadership to retain Coach Foy as the Head Girls Basketball Coach.

Coach Foy has consistently demonstrated dedication to his student-athletes, invested countless hours into building a competitive program, and created an environment where young women are challenged to grow not only as basketball players but as leaders, teammates, and individuals of character.

Throughout recent events, many in our community have watched rumors, accusations, and speculation overshadow years of positive contributions. We believe employment decisions should be based on facts, integrity, and a coach’s overall record, not misinformation, personal agendas, or public pressure.

Athletics are about far more than wins and losses. Coaches help shape the next generation of citizens, leaders, and adults. The leadership we place before our children should reflect the values we hope they carry into adulthood: honesty, accountability, respect, perseverance, fairness, compassion, and integrity. Those qualities should be the standard by which we evaluate those entrusted with mentoring our student-athletes.

Our girls deserve consistency, stability, and a coach who has earned their trust. Changing leadership without legitimate cause disrupts the progress of the program and sends the wrong message to our student-athletes about fairness, accountability, and standing by what is right.

This petition is not about division. It is about standing together for truth, due process, and the best interests of Anderson-Shiro’s students.

We respectfully request that the Anderson-Shiro ISD Board of Trustees:

Retain Coach Foy as the Head Girls Basketball Coach.
Make personnel decisions based on documented performance and verified facts.
Ensure that district leadership models the same character, integrity, and fairness we expect our children to develop.
Prioritize the well-being and success of student-athletes above politics or outside pressure.
Demonstrate a commitment to transparency, accountability, and integrity in every decision affecting our schools.

Our athletes deserve leaders they can look up to, and our community deserves confidence that decisions are made fairly and with the best interests of students at heart.
