Our community is defined by its farmland, natural resources, and quality of life. The proposed construction of a large-scale data center would permanently change that landscape—and not without serious risks.

This project threatens productive farmland that has supported generations of local families and contributes to our local economy. Once this land is lost, it cannot be replaced.

Equally concerning are the environmental impacts. Data centers require significant water usage, which could strain our local water supply. There are also valid concerns about high levels of infertility, cancer potential water contamination, increased air and noise pollution, and light pollution that could disrupt both residents and local ecosystems.

Despite the scale of this project, many residents feel they have not been fully informed or given a meaningful voice in the decision-making process.

We are asking local officials to pause for a two year moratorium and carefully reconsider this proposal. 

A project of this magnitude demands full transparency, thorough environmental review, and genuine community input before moving forward.
