The COOP has announced that it wants to close the pharmacy on Carholme Road in Lincoln. We are asking the COOP to keep the pharmacy open.

The COOP pharmacy on Carholme Road is literally a life line for many people. The pharmacy is especially important for older residents, residents with children and residents with mobility issues, who may struggle to pick up their medicines further away, need advice, or depend on other services, such as a blood pressure check or a conversation about health issues. The  pharmacy is important to all residents in the Carholme ward.

We ask you to sign this petition to ask the COOP to keep our pharmacy open. But what is more, if you are a local resident we ask you to register at the COOP pharmacy if you were not aware of the possibility to use these local services, or if you have already registered at a pharmacy further afield after hearing about the closure. The more people are registered at the COOP pharmacy on Carholme Road, the better our chances are for keeping a crucial local service.

Residents in the Carholme ward have already lost the local post office. With  a local pharmacy also closing local services are further eroded.
