The FHS school board has decided that the 26-27 school year will remove block schedules; however, this decision is detrimental to a lot of the student population at Fox. For students taking AP, Dual Credit, Honors, or other high-level courses, the long class periods that block scheduling provides. Students can ask more questions and have more time to spend on difficult lessons and assignments. Another issue is presented with electives like Cooking classes, as 45-48 minutes isn't long enough to make and prepare many recipes. This is why many other students believe block scheduling should not be removed!!
