Thank you for your request to have a more hygienic steam room. To improve the cleanliness of the steam room, you will note that it will be closed for cleaning/disinfecting Mon-Sat from 10-11am and 3-4pm and on Sundays from 2-3pm. This is in addition to the nightly cleanings. Please make note and adjust your schedules accordingly.
The hose will not be installed as the cold water affects the temperature sensor, causing the steam room to exceed the allowed safe temperature of the room (no more than 120 degrees Fahrenheit). We have tried moving the steam sensor multiple times, but the issue of the sensor being sprayed (increasing the risk to patrons and causing damage to it) continued, thus leading to the decision to eliminate the hose.
It is advised that proper swimwear be worn at all times and recommend that patrons to bring a towel to sit on to reduce contact with the seating areas. As a courtesy to others, we ask that patrons do not lie down in the steam room or sauna. It is advised that you use the room for no more than 15 minutes and that you remove yourself from the space to cool down for a minimum of 15 minutes. Once again, I hope you will find improved cleanliness in the space with the increase in the cleaning schedule.
