Puppy mills are underground operations where dogs are bred at excessive rates for profit. Dogs are kept in small cages and conditions are substandard, often leaving dogs sick, infected, malnourished, and treated so cruelly that they are severely undersocialized and cower at the sight of a human hand. There are currently over 100 puppy mills in Ontario, enslaving hundreds of dogs and killing hundreds more each year. While thousands and thousands of dogs are euthanized in shelters each year.

    If there is no support for these puppy mills, they will cease to exist. With the help of Ontario communities we can put an end to these cruel

operations. Please sign this petition to ban the selling of puppy mill dogs in London and Stratford pet stores, and make it mandatory to only sell dogs and cats from local animal shelters.
