Help Save Kiska, The Orca at Marineland

The Issue

Many people think that Marineland is a perfect place and that the animals are perfectly taken care of, but they aren't!  Marineland animals have been suffering for years. I'm concerned about Animal Abuse in Marineland.  I am especially concerned for Kiska because she is the loneliest killer whale in the world and the only killer whale in Canada. Many of Kiska's former trainers say that she has been poorly treated by Marineland. Marineland only care about their money and not their marine animals, who are being blinded by poor water conditions and many more problems. If you sign this petition, we can help Kathleen Wynne, the Premier of Ontario know about this and end this madness.

In 1979, Kiska was captured as a calf, when she was about 3 years old near Northern Atlantic Ocean. Kiska is about 43 years old, and which is fairly old for a captive whale, but for a wild killer whale that’s only middle age.

Kiska had more companions but they have been transfers to other marine parks, like SeaWorld. There was a male orca named Ikaika, he used to be with Marineland. But in 2010, SeaWorld terminated its long-term agreement because they got concerned with his psychological health and physical health at Marineland.

Together we can help Free Kiska!!!
