This week, the verdict in the trial against the man accused of sexually assaulting my sister is set to be delivered.
Kassidi was just 20 years old when she took her own life, four months after being sexually assaulted. Support services were not readily available for Kassidi; she was placed on a four month wait list for counselling, and took her own life just weeks before her first appointment. I started this petition so no one else will have to go through what Kassidi experienced, and I’m so grateful you’ve shown your support.
These past few months have been a particularly difficult time for our family, spending the holiday period waiting to hear whether Kassidi will get justice. Having the support of more than 120,000 people who have signed this petition has been a big comfort to us, knowing that what happened to Kassidi isn’t going unnoticed.
Now, please take 2 minutes to help push our campaign even further:
Share this petition - help us spread the word so that no one else has to go without desperately needed support.
