We the residents of Sri Krishna Gardens, Mylasandra, (near RR Nagar) are getting poisoned by toxins being poured into the Vrishbhavati stream, flowing past our locality in SW Bangalore.

Every morning huge quantities of chemical and industrial effluents are being poured into the Vrishbhavati making the river turn yellow and toxic. There is a foul stench along with the yellow chemicals which lingers in the air throughout the day. 

We request the concerned authorities to take up this issue as it is a disaster in waiting. It may cause health hazards and ground water pollution as this stream feeds the Arkavathy river which empties into the kaveri river which is our source of drinking water!!  It seems we have learnt nothing from COVID 19!!
