Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) is the administrative body that governs the city of Bangalore, India. Responsibilities of the BBMP include the infrastructural and developmental aspects of the city, which includes maintaining roads, parks, public buildings, and enforcing zoning regulations. It's also responsible for public health and sanitation, including waste management. Comprised of elected officials from various wards of the city, it also collaborates with various government and non-government agencies, businesses, and community organizations to govern the city.
