The Issue
People use their time, money, energy, blood, sweat and tears to pay for them and their families vehicles or modes of transportation. It is for some, a huge undertaking.
We are forced to get a loan most of the time to afford the rising costs of motor vehicles. We are forced to pay for extremely expensive insurance to insure these vehicles. We are made to contend with rising gas prices to travel in these vehicles. We are made to take care of general maintenance and repairs of these vehicles.
So knowing this should make one realize that a vehicle is actually an investment for most. It should be OUR PROPERTY THAT WE OWN right?
Well unfortunately the way things are, it’s NOT.
For example, when you finally pay off your loan, you will qualify for lower insurance, and you should become the full owner of the vehicle. But you never actually get the satisfaction of being the owner of this major investment because you were forced to REGISTER it to the STATE. This means that the state is actually the TRUE OWNER of your property. And because of this they continue to charge us year after year for a small different colored sticker that you MUST pay for along with a LARGE TAX FEE based on your vehicles retail value. Millions of dollars are funneled from Kansans through this criminal, unconstitutional and egregious method of extortion.
Is this the land of the free, or the land of the FEE?
If enough Kansans stand up against this tyranny and refuse to pay these politicians fees then there’s really nothing that these lawmakers, agencies and the state government can do about it. This is how you make change this is how you get rid of illegal policies laws and unconstitutional ideas that are plaguing not only us Kansans but Americans as a whole. Stop allowing citizens to be extorted by being forced to hand over the fruits of our labor. Kansas tags and tax fees are a burden to vehicle owners and don’t believe the lies, they are not something good that benefits society in any way shape or form unless you are the one whose bank accounts are filling up with the money.
