The Kansas Department of Transportation met with the K-254 Association in March to share results from a traffic study that was completed in February. The study offered a number of recommendations ranging from signing to geometric improvements. Some of the signing recommendations related to intersections and medians have already been implemented. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?! PEOPLE ARE STILL RUNNING THOSE STOP SIGNS! PEOPLE ARE STILL PULLING OUT IN FRONT OF TRAFFIC GOING 75 mph +.  Although some geometric improvements have been recommended, KDOT has not yet identified funding for construction. So what do we do? We keep voicing our safety concerns. WE WON'T GIVE UP!!
