Kannapolis NEEDS a skatepark. In the city area there are no skating signs on 80% of the streets and sidewalks. This is taking away a healthy hobby for many young individuals in the downtown and inner areas of Kannapolis. In an age being overtaken by devices we need as many in person events as possible to build a stronger community connection. There are many young skaters breaking the rules and possibly being fined simply because they want to enjoy themselves. Skating is not a crime and should not be considered such. Make the change now for the youth.
