I decided to include Pinterest in this petition because I discovered that HubPages set up phony accounts for others (using their identities and content) without their express permission or knowledge.

HubPages is profiting from both their identities and content. And there ARE others.

I also decided that a better video was in order. I needed to document proof on August 31st, 2014 at midnight that I was locked out of my account and unable to delete my content. Yes, the quality of that video is poor. Hence, my new video that has three parts.
The key points that I cover in my video (and the references and screenshot proof) are as follows:
Bonnie Diczhazy assured me in an email: "PS - Squidoo was NOT sold : )"
My Google Analytics issued this "high priority" alert that I noticed on July 15th, 2014: "At least 351 pages are missing a valid tracking code for property SousababySquidoo"

Gil Hildebrand knows the truth. When I contacted him about the tracking code he apologized twice (odd) and suggested it was some upgrade issue with Google Analytics. I was ALREADY upgraded though.

"We don't ever sell your email address. [Mine was sold and so were hundreds of others.]

"We will NEVER, however, disclose personally identifying information, except as specifically authorized by you ..."

Notably, he stated:
"All lenses on Squidoo will automatically be deleted after the transfer is completed."
"We want to make it clear that even after tomorrow’s deadline, you will have complete access to your Dashboard, stats and the Workshop (without Publishing), and you’ll be able to continue to backup your account."
Further along he states: ""Everything is on track for the timeline to begin converting accounts on Tuesday, September 2nd."

My point is this: Squidoo HQ members were fully aware of my wishes. They had from August 16th, 2014 until September 12th, 2014 to CHOOSE whether or not they were going to sell / import my email, identity, profile info, content (including photos and videos) to HubPages. [Even though I am certain this sale was made late 2013 or early 2014.]

So here's the deal: the little guy writers making a few hundred per month (for their family and charity) is basically informed by HubPages, Google, Amazon, ? Pinterest, and a lawyer that you need to file this suit in federal court (costing at least $5,000) since it falls under "copyright infringement."
But what about unfair and deceptive business practices? What about using someone's identity to profit from? This HAS to be illegal!
And it needs to stop.
This is precisely how the 1% keep getting richer. Seth Godin and Paul Edmondson have successfully manufactured consent.
Well, unless I get more signatures and we declare victory.

I'd also wish that residents of Flint, Michigan receive half of any monies recovered when the FTC investigates HubPages.
