Four days ago, I received a question on Pinterest from Amber Brown: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/130463720432988790/?utm_campaign=commentpin&e_t=f195745a21d042328cf14249605ef3d7&utm_content=130463720432988790&utm_source=31&e_t_s=body&utm_medium=2013 She asked, "Wait a minute... did they alter something 'cause I don't remember seeing this the last you shared your forced made profile on HP?" Yes, Amber Brown, I never joined HubPages. According to Marisa Wright (aka Dancingqueen), the shill I reported: https://www.change.org/p/kamala-harris-hubpages-writers-are-entitled-to-all-earnings-and-removal-of-their-author-content/u/14422110 "... it was created on my behalf" – which is the most manipulative excuse I've heard of identity theft. You can read all eight of Marisa Wright's, aka Dancingqueen's, comments (at the bottom) of my InfoBarrel article: http://www.infobarrel.com/Why_on_Earth_Is_Any_Squid_Filing_a_DMCA_With_Google And, according to HubPages Inc. own Terms of Use: http://hubpages.com/help/user_agreement 2. DEFINITIONS AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION [My comments are in square brackets and I cannot use italics on petition updates, hence some words are capitalized for emphasis.] These are just three key points: "Author" or “Hubber”: A person that creates an account on the Service. [I NEVER created an account.] "Author Content": Any content, including without limitation questions, answers, forum posts, ratings, votes, and Hub comments, that Authors post on the Service other than on the Author’s Hub, and all photographs that Authors post on the Service (including on the Author’s Hub). [Both TanoCalvenoa, aka Jonathan Nielsen, and I NEVER POSTED "Hub comments" AND my photos/videos were NEVER posted by me. Yet our comments show up on HubPages?] "Hub Content": Any content, including without limitation text, data, video, and links, but excluding photographs, that an Author posts on the Author’s Hub. [Again, I did NOT post "Hub" content.] To make matters worse, HubPages even set up a phony Pinterest account in my former Squidoo name, sousababy. Here's the URL: https://www.pinterest.com/source/sousababy.hubpages.com/ I discovered it when my Google Analytics stats showed my Pinterest traffic crashed (from 71 percent to 7 percent): http://www.infobarrel.com/Pinterest_Traffic_Dropping After going back-and-forth with Pinterest, they partially complied with my request to remove ONLY my content (and I need to continuously report it). It's a never-ending job and I simply cannot keep up with it. I NEVER created this phony Pinterest account. My traffic has NEVER recovered. On January 30th, 2015, I received the following email: Hi Rose, You recently notified Pinterest of a belief that copyrighted material was being made available through Pinterest(dot)com without authorization. We confirm that we have removed such material. While most content is removed immediately, it may take up to 24 hours to be removed from all servers. Very truly yours, Tobi Pinterest Team How charming. It's merely "a belief" now. Well, this is getting ridiculous. I suppose what irks me more is that fact that hundreds of writers are "too afraid" to sign my petition. Vadim Liberman's article in The Conference Board Review echoed the alarming Workplace Bullying Institute's statistic (that I have found to be true): 66 percent of aggrieved employees quit to end the bullying. By contrast, companies terminate only 1 to 2 percent of bullies. Source: http://www.tcbreview.com/tcbr-human-capital/mistreatment.html I suppose on a positive note, I discovered that Matthew Meyer, a former staffer at HubPages, has left HubPages Inc. So Mr. Meyer, if you (or anyone else) has information regarding possible violations of state or federal statutes, rules, or regulations, or violations of fiduciary responsibility by HubPages Inc., call the California State Attorney General’s Whistleblower Hotline at 1-800-952-5225. You can also reference my FTC complaint REFERENCE NO: 61039505 (which I submitted to the Federal Trade Commission on April 9th, 2015). Take good care, Rose
