Our healthcare workers are out on the front lines dealing with COVID-19. Most people are at home stuck inside but our healthcare workers don’t get that time, and have children at home alone. Imagine that you’re a single mother with a six-year-old child that’s home from school and you still have to go to work leaving them home alone for an eight hour shift. Even If they do have a husband or wife their losing their income because their staying home because they’re is closed. Our healthcare workers have become the main financial provider for their families. These workers are essential to our survival at this time. The fact that Trump gave money to small businesses but not our healthcare workers is ridiculous. I get they need it to but their not dealing with COVID-19 face to face. My mom is a nurse and everyday she leaves to go to work I’m scared for her. Two of her fellow nurses are currently in quarantine. I’m 16 so I can be home alone but it’s boring all day long.
