On Thursday May 27, 2021 news broke about the remains of 215 indigenous children as young as 3 years old at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School the Tk'emlups te Secwépemc First Nation in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. This school, one of several, was associated with, managed, directed and taught by the Catholic Church and the Canadian Government. 

It is estimated by scholars that there is more than 2500 and closer to 6000 children who died while attending these residential schools across Canada. We are sure that once a proper investigation is completed a much greater number will present itself. This will be the largest genocide discovery in Canadian history and we are calling on the Government of Canada to give Justice to the #215children who died while forced into the Residential School system. 

To date the Vatican refuses to apologize for this act of genocide and the Canadian government has not held one single person criminally responsible and we demand justice for the #215children
