Mainstream media has been reporting on the violent airstrikes between Palestine and Israel that have been shaking the grounds and injuring innocent civilians for weeks now. Clashes between the Hamas and Israeli military have led to protestors taking to the streets destroying vehicles and harming civilians, and military from both sides shooting and throwing tear gas on innocent civilians.

As of Friday, May 14th, 2021, it was reported that 119 Palestinians, including children and and women, and 8 Israelis have died due to the conflict. This has to stop. We need to call our political leaders to take action- to speak out and against the violence, and to push the Israeli government to de-escalate attacks on innocent civilians.

As Ramadan recently has come to an end, hundreds of Muslim Palestinians were unable to perform the ritual of Eid prayers outside- instead having to cower inside their homes, listening to airstrikes and bombs fly overhead. During Ramadan even, they were unable to offer prayers inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the most holy sites in Islam.

Please take a few minutes to fill out this petition, and to speak out against the violence and unjust treatment of Palestinian Muslims, and to call for the Canadian government's condemnation of those allowing this to occur. Together, we can make a difference.
