To everyone who has signed this, If you could please contact local newspapers and radio stations and ask to talk to them about #BringBackKatimavik. There is alot of momentum right now in the news and we need to push for this. Signing the petition was sweet, but be more vocal! Be vocal on twitter using that hashtag, emailing politicians, and in the media! Contact the CBC in your area and ask for an interview. Be bold! (I'm attaching a link to the most recent CBC article.) If nothing else, follow Katimavik on Facebook and share the sweet meme/gifs they're posting. Be more vocal, please! And - bug the heck out of Trudeau, Melanie Joly, and your local MP. Show them that Canada wants this. And regarding the petition, I have given it to my MP Neil Ellis for Bay of Quinte (Ontario) and am waiting to see what's next. Push hard! -sami
