After almost 13 months of quarantine finally there is hope that Vaccine is going to be available to public; however in the recent days province of Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta have decided against the scientific and manufacturer guidelines to make an experimental trial and delay the 2nd dose of vaccine. 

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, has come out strongly against delaying second doses of Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, calling the idea "premature and not rooted solidly in the available evidence."

In a statement released March 3rd, the American body said there is a significant risk to public health in changing the vaccine schedule.

"We know that some of these discussions about changing the dosing schedule or dose are based on a belief that changing the dose or dosing schedule can help get more vaccine to the public faster," the statement reads. 

"However, making such changes that are not supported by adequate scientific evidence may ultimately be counterproductive to public health." 

Delayed doses an 'experiment,' also raise ethical concerns about informed consent, as those who received a first dose understood they would receive the second on the authorized schedule.

"Individuals were explicitly informed by those who were administering the vaccination that a second dose would be required within 21 days for the Pfizer vaccine.

"For many the decision to announce a delayed vaccination schedule after doses have begun to be administered has been in itself an experiment that they unknowingly became a part of and that they did not consent to."

There are many evidence, that people who got the first dose of vaccine in the US, contracted the covid vaccine and got critically sick and ended up in hospital before getting the 2nd dose of vaccine.

We are writing to you requesting to provide the second dose of covid vaccination as per the manufacturer's recommendations and make decisions purely based on scientific and ethical evidence.
