According to the new regulations, people can enter Canada only if they are fully vaccinated. Unfortunately, none of the approved vaccines in Canada is available in Russia. That makes it impossible for some Canadian citizens/permanent residents to see their loved ones or for International students from Russia to get the Canadian education they have paid for. It’s not their choice because the only vaccine that is available for Russian citizens is Sputnik V. 

Sputnik V is proven to be a safe vaccine against COVID-19 with an efficacy of 91.6%. There are millions of people all around the world who have been protected against COVID-19 with the help of this vaccine. Furthermore, many countries including Australia and Israel (countries that are as cautious about the pandemic situation as Canada) have already approved Sputnik V. 

We kindly ask the Canadian government to register Sputnik V and include it in the list of vaccines recognised for international travelling.
