Expand Psychedelic Therapy in Canada

Expand Psychedelic Therapy in Canada
The Issue
Greetings,
This is written on my phone as I type, apologies for any exclusion of pertinent information.
For many sufferers of mental health disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder, PTSD, Persistent Major Depression, and more, there are no options other than taking pills, increasing dosages, trying new medications-some that have made my mind much worse, personally. Many are a danger to anyone short and long-term; such as Benzodiazepines.
Not all can get or afford true psychiatric help, and I believe that for some, not all, Psychedelics are the future of Mind Medicines. I was going to attempt to take my life again, and for every attempt, I grew bolder. Then I did my research, took a strain of Psilocybin Mushrooms, and it allowed me clarity of thought for the first time I can remember. It was scary, as you are confronted with the ties of the past which we hold onto, often which you are able to then cut, and beautiful, as there is a love that is beyond measure.
Psilocybin in particular is one of, if not the least dangerous "drug" on the list. Caffeine is more harmful. Other than the health issues mentioned, it is great for those wanting to quit various addictions like alcohol, many harmful illegal drugs, cigarette smoking, relationship problems at home, and increasingly used in caring for the dying; and these are just some examples.
I just ask that someone with potential, like myself and many thousands more, aren't hindered by antiquated laws and viewpoints, when I and others can have our lives back and rejoin the world to work, volunteer, and help our society. I can not live much longer in this state. Either allow Medicinal Liscence for it, or allow me to travel to a place where I may die in a dignified way. Please research the subject on your own. John's Hopkins Hospital now has a new building for the research and development of Psilocybin and LSD-25, as well as a place where patients can take it under close care. Thank you.
