Atiyeh Symone Chatmon, better known as Tia to her family and friends, was tragically taken on March 3rd, 2020 by her ex-boyfriend, Michael Sherrod Walker Jr. He cowardly shot Atiyeh outside her job in Fort Worth, Texas and hid from police for almost a week. Tia was only 23 years old and so full of life and cherished by her loved ones.

Less than 2 months after murdering our sweet Tia, Michael was released from Tarrant County Jail on April 15th with a reduced bond. Even with another case pending for a different incident and previous assault charges, Tia's murderer is walking around free until trial.

We demand revocation of his release and swift justice for Atiyeh.
