#JusticeShouldn’tHurt: How you can help
Dear supporters, thank you for signing and sharing this petition in huge numbers. We are grateful to each and every one of you for helping us reach 50,000 signatures! Your support empowers our fight and demonstrates to the government that Australians want a criminal justice system that works for our kids.
Right now, the financials are the critical stumbling block in our fight. Earlier this year, my daughters returned to court to fight to say their own names in public. The process cost almost $45,000 and we are grateful for the support and expert advice by the #LetUsSpeak team and news.com.au.
Justice shouldn’t be determined by a person’s postcode. Currently, the Child Sexual Offence Evidence Pilot program is only available in two metropolitan locations, excluding access for children in regional, rural and remote areas.
