Today marks 9 days from the rape and murder of 5 year old, Zoey Felix.

That is 9 days of silence from Governor Laura Kelly, who lives just 8.6 miles away from where the 911 call happened

9 days of Holly Felix living free from any accountability, thanks to DA Michael Kaygay. 

9 days of our local government being silent, with the exception of vague conversations and statements. 

9 days of silence from the Secretary of DCFS Laura Howard. 
Enough is enough, child welfare must come first. We must protect the most vulnerable among us. 

When did it become acceptable to not care about the brutal rape of a 5 year old? 

I have spent the last couple of night asking myself, what are they hiding!? 

We must continue to put pressure on the local elected officials, and state officials.
