"Our Son in prison for life, plus twenty years with Parole for something he tried to avoid. He didn't want it to be himself, him or none of the others". "All our Son wanted was to be at peace and left along with his kids & family". "Our Son didn't do everything by the book because he pleaded and asked the individual to let it go, he's not entertaining the back & forth and Our Son tried everything to avoid the individual by any means necessary". "The very next day after this individual had did what he did to Our Son, Our son's girlfriend went to the individual mother's house and explained to her what her son had did to Our Son the night before". "The individual's  mother went straight to the police department, explained to them what her son had did, filed a report and for the police to look into this before someone gets hurts immediately ". "Our Son's father & Myself didn't find out about what the individual had did until a few days after, but I immediately went to the Housing Authority first, because the individual was staying across the street from My Apartment ". "Housing Authority advise me that she will contact the police department, which she did twice of the situation ". "Our Son's father & myself went straight to the police station after we left Housing Authority to file a report about our Son's situation with this individual whom they knew very well and his reputation". "After this individual had did what he did to Our Son, he would go live on Facebook bragging about it, threatening my son's life, started riding around looking for my son, chased my son down in the car to where he had to jump out and takes off running and pulling up at a family member house with guns looking for Our Son and himself and his baby brother was told to hide in the closet while the individual was confronted, told that our son wasn't in there and a call made to myself and his Dad immediately but when we arrived they were gone". "His Father & I went straight to the police station, reported it and informed them to do their jobs". "This was going on weeks before the tragic". "Four days before the tragic I was confronted by the individual while at home on my front porch". "The neighbor was already on call with 911 and I called also". "They came out, but never arrested anyone". "All the cries for help, our concerns & reporting the situations to the police department over a couple weeks time before the tragic, still NO HELP, CONCERNS or FOLLOW UPS from the police department at all" . "But yet on the morning of questioned our son wasn't protected for defending himself ". "Our Son had the right to be where he was". "He was minding his own business like always at home". "The individual and two others decided to start riding looking for our son that morning ". "The individual started riding by their apartment, pulled in our Son's girlfriend driveway and bagged out". "As the individual continue up the street our son was spotted, the individual immediately stop the car at the stop sign, jumps out the car, walks across the street where our son was at and our Son telling the individual to let it go get back in the car, don't keep coming any further but the individual kept walking towards our son with his threats and what he was going to do". "So our son realized this individual wasn't stopping so our son fired bullets in the ground, one bounce and he was hit in the leg, fell right in front on my son's cousin door but he tried to get up and make it back to the car but fell  and he was screaming for someone to bring the gun". "One individual got out the car to go give the hurt individual that was hit what he was asking for while the third individual stayed down in the car and our son was saying stay in the car but the individual was trying to get to the individual that was hit". "So our son started firing more warning shots, a bullet bounce of the car and struck the individual who was killed instantly ". "The third individual jumps out the car, takes off her shirt, gets the gun off the individual wrap the gun in the shirt, takes off running without looking back or to get the individual help whom she knew had been hit, but Our son didn't know". "Our Son immediately called 911, explained what happen, what he had done & a bullet had hit the individual in the leg". "Our Son didn't even realize the other individual was on the other side of the car deceased until the police got there". "Our Son stayed on the phone with 911 the whole time til the first police officer arrived on scene, our son informed the 911 dispatcher the officer had arrived and he was given permission to hang up after it was confirmed ". "Our Son didn't run, he call for help immediately , gave the officer the gun and our son was handcuffed and placed in the back of the police car". "Our Son was in fear for this life, defending himself, at home so that he wouldn't lose his life". "But yet one of the others lost theirs". "Whom begged to be let out the car, that they didn't want to have anything to do with it & pleaded for their life". "But the individual calling shots refused and threaten the individual life that was lost that they didn't have a choice or else". "As we're getting ready for our son's three day trial, Our son's father & I was asked to go to the police department and get all the reports that was filed and the report about the 911 call days before this tragic happen". "My Husband & I explained what had happen, all the cries for help, the 911 call, concern for Our son's life and others". "So the Chief of Police Begin looking and searching for these reports and the 911 call". "I mean the Chief couldn't and never did find anything that was supposed to be filed and documented rather anyone was arrested or not". "The Chief then as me did I remember one of the officers name, I remembered one, called the name and he said that he would question them and get back with us the next day". "The next question the Chief asks my husband and myself was, how many of my police officers arrive on this call and my husband said five and the chief replied, are you sure because only two assigned to each shift and it shouldn't of been five or you sure". "At his point my husband told him, I know how many it was, I counted them and I know what and how many I saw and it was five". "So the next day we meet back with the chief he informed us that he had questioned the police officer I name and he said they never received or respond to that call". "The chief of police said out his own mouth that it was something suspicious going on because those reports should of been filed no matter what they are called out for a report is required for them to file". "Everywhere my husband and I have stayed since 1999 every called that we had made to 911 was coming up all except this one and it's 18 year later that out of all the 911 call this was the only one not showing up at all". "The lawyer put in for a open records and there it was". "The only evidence that we had from the police department that they couldn't sweep under the rug, trample with or hide". "But all our cries for help, concerns, worrying  and reports was missing because when the tragic took place,  they realize that they had to cover their mistakes or no concerns at all to protect, serve, intervene and take this as a serious matter to be looked into to prevent all of this from happening". "Then chief wants to announce that he founded out he have crooked police officers in his circle and that he thought that Our son was really going to win the case, but not once did the chief stand up and do the right thing, by law and to help Our Son after knowing he was railroaded Because of his Police officers after knowing what he already knew about his Officers ". "Everything after the first incident was premeditated on their part". "It's so easy for them to put the blame on our son when it's really on them". "By them I mean the Chief of Police, The police officers, the investigators and etc". "When in fact if they would have upheld their oaths to protect and serve Our Son and his family throughout this whole ordeal our son feels like he wouldn't be in Prison. "Our son was charged with murder, assault & some many other charges. and the DA and Judge presented it in court as if Our Son  was the aggressor when he had proof and it was documented that the individual that lived, put other people lives in danger, threatened the lives of other if they didn't do what the individual says and so unfortunately someone life was CLEARLY showed who was the aggressor and it wasn't our son. "The sad and hurtful part about it all, the individual that did this to Our Son is family, the tragic lost of a beautiful soul was the individual girlfriend who pleaded, begged, said no & that they didn't want to go & to let them out, but the individual threaten the individual life about if not then this what will happen which was testified on the stand under oath by the third individual that was in the vehicle with the two other individuals how the individual didn't want to go & how the head individual threaten the individual about there wasn't a choice or what will happen if not".."The individual that lost their life was scared/afraid of this individual, controlled by the individual, abused physically/mentally by this individual who's been in & out of Jail & prison all his life started at a very young age whom is also feared by the mother/family because of the individual reputation, attitude, known for carrying a gun, admits in a gang, a bully for the small community who a lot feared. "After all the pain, hurt, grief & etc that this individual caused two families who grew up together and was close  this individual out living life like nothing ever happen, no regrets, no change in behavior or the individual's pattern of life to destroy someone else's. Our Son & The Beautiful Soul Lost didn't deserve to lose their lives (Our Son to Prison) & the soul lost who begged to be dropped off but was threaten with no choice or else. And Our Son who were only protecting himself/family while at home, Our Son warned the individual to stop where they were, to not come any further whom reputation was heartless, reputation for carrying & etc who refuse to listen to anything Our Son was saying, Our Son feared for his life bc of all the things, threats & encounters on his life for weeks before leading up to this Tragic". "Last year, Our Son lost his daddy/my husband/his twin whom was very closed, strong  bond that was truly a father & son from day one. "All we want is for Our Son to come home to his kids, his mom, his brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and family. Our son never been in trouble, never had a record until now, he would help anybody, give them his shirt off his back, positive, want the best for everyone, didn't like drama, didn't do crowds, always tried to make things right between anyone with beef & problems that other had with each other that he had nothing to do with. "Our son was backstabbed by our own family, the police department fail to do their jobs, after the tragic that could of been avoided/prevented but the Law didn't care or concerned railroaded Our Son with lies, fabricated stories, missing evidence, tried to conceal evidence, fell to sever, protect & intervene in Our Son's situation after the fact to cover up all their mistakes, lies & drugged Our Son's name through the trenches only bc he protected his life".
