The Issue

***UPDATE: he was arrested again for animal abuse, but sadly released the same day. Contrary to what I’d heard, the dog was not removed. It is still tied up on a short leash amidst a pile of trash.*** We must Stop serial animal torturer,  “Captain Dave” Before More Innocent Animals Suffer For years, an individual known as “Captain Dave” and the “Suck Creek Squatter” has been polluting the Tennessee river and openly torturing animals in the river front area of Suck Creek Rd in Chattanooga. His most recent act of cruelty, drowning five goats and dumping their bodies behind Aldi, made local headlines.  Even after his arrest, upon release, he went right back to abusing innocent animals. He’s been captured on video beating a puppy and currently has a large dog chained with no room to move, no water, no shade, and unable to even lie down. These are not accidents. They’re deliberate, sadistic acts of cruelty. 🚨 We Demand Action Beyond his long history of animal abuse, the property where Captain Dave is squatting is in deplorable condition and poses a public health concern. It must be addressed and cleaned up. It’s time for Hamilton County law enforcement and animal control to act decisively. We demand: •Strict enforcement of animal cruelty laws • Removal of all animals from his possession • Long-term restrictions preventing him from owning or being near animals again ✊ The Time to Act Is Now Every day that he remains free and without restrictions, more animals are at risk. Our community cannot stay silent while this cruelty continues.
👉 Sign this petition to demand justice and help protect his innocent victims. Together, we can end this cycle of abuse and hold “ Captain Dave” accountable once and for all.  Link to article below: https://newschannel9.com/news/local/chattanooga-man-charged-with-animal-cruelty-after-five-dead-goats-found-behind-a-store
