The accused remained untraceable for days and was subjected to an alcohol test only three days later, far too late to establish whether he had been under the influence at the time of the crash. Despite causing the loss of an innocent life in such a gruesome manner, he was released on bail the next day.
Sarthak was so much more than another road accident statistic. He was a gifted theatre artist who poured his heart into every performance and also led a team at an event management company.
