Sammie Lee was brutally assaulted by 3 black girls as she was leaving a bar by herself.  The assault was totally unprovoked. As she was being beaten the black girls shouted racial slurs and “Free Karmelo Anthony”. They stated they were attacking the smallest white girls they could find.

Sammie Lee was hospitalized for injuries all over her body , including staples to her head. 
The 3 black girls were identified and arrested with a $20,000 bond. They were only charged for misdemeanor assault by the Longview Police Department while this crime fits all the elements of a hate crime. 
This petition is for the charges to be upgraded as such for Sammie Lee to receive the closest to justice as she can get. Please sign this petition for charges to be upgraded to a hate crime and due justice be served.
