As of this morning NY State Police have announced that they are escalating the charges against all 7 individuals suspected in Sami’s death from Second Degree Murder to First Degree Murder and reference the extent of torture he endured. This is a huge step in the right direction when it comes to demanding the justice he deserves but the work is far from finished. Please keep sharing and talking about his story!
