As a friend of Sam Nordquist I first want to say thank you for all of the support. So far this petition has gained over 17k signatures. Therefore, I want to ask everyone to keep sharing, and encourage those you know and love to do the same. Further more I’m asking everyone to email the decision makers and urge them to reconsider the charges for all 7 individuals suspected of Sam’s killing from Second Degree Murder to First Degree Murder and Life in Prison. I’m also asking you to urge the decision makers to reconsider New York States definition of a hate crime!
Update on Sam:
Sami’s memorial was yesterday and his family and friends continue to grieve our immense loss of such a beautiful & loved person. While we grieve we will continue to fight for him and demand the justice he deserves. This being said New York State Police will be giving an Update on Sam’s case tomorrow morning 3/4/25 starting at 9:15am. Lastly, I will be including Sam’s Obituary below along with another petition started by Sam’s family and the families GoFundMe link which Sam’s sister Kayla had been diligently updating. Any funds donated will be going towards travel and legal expenses as Sam’s family continues to fight for justice in Sam’s case.
