Trigger Warning - The following text refers to animal cruelty 

A stray puppy was brutally murdered by 2 drunk men. 

A stray 2 months old puppy was brutally beaten by hockey sticks and murdered by 2 drunk men. His crime was that he was barking, that's it. They hit him very badly, he squealing and squirming in agony but unable to escape, also no one came to help him near Takshashilla college ghara, Jabalpur MP.

A case against them for cruelty to an animal has already been established but this does not end here.

According to our laws, such brutal and cruel actions are bailable and they also got the bail on the same day. The penalty in India for being cruel to animals is merely Rs 50. Strict action needs to be taken against these men. It boils me when I see people committing heinous crimes like these.

As per the section 302 in the Indian penal code, Whoever commits murder shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life and shall also be liable to fine, why is that not the case when similar crimes are committed on non human animals? These men need to be held accountable and courts need to take corrective action against such brutal acts of violence.
