Ali and Wa’ed Bani Odeh were driving home with their children after breaking their Ramadan fast when their car came under gunfire from Israeli soldiers in the West Bank.

According to reports, four members of the family were killed, including two young boys just 5 and 7 years old. Two of their brothers survived the attack.

Israeli military officials have said soldiers opened fire because they believed the vehicle posed a threat and that the incident is now under investigation. When civilians — especially children — are killed in military operations, the public deserves clear answers and real accountability.

We want justice for these killings!

We call on Israeli authorities to carry out a full, transparent, and independent investigation into the killing of the Bani Odeh family and to publicly release the findings. Any wrongdoing must be addressed through proper legal accountability.

Justice cannot undo this tragedy. But transparency and accountability can help ensure that families like the Bani Odehs are not forgotten and that future civilian lives are protected.
