As most have you are probably aware, 42-year-old Nathan Millard, husband and father from Covington, Georgia went missing on February 23 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was found deceased at approximately 3:34 AM, on  March 6, by someone who allegedly was “in the area” and smelled a foul odor… That’s when he says he located the remains of Millard, in an abandoned lot, wrapped in plastic and rolled up in a rug.
According to an article I read today, Amber Millard (Nathan’s wife), has been trying to reach out to Louisiana State Police to request that they take over the investigation. In the report, it’s stated that Amber feels Baton Rouge Police Department hasn’t taken this case seriously, at all, from the time the missing person report was filed. She’s said BRPD was refusing to show videos they’d obtained, and the most concerning detail is that they didn’t take the rug that Millard was found, rolled in! The rug would have been a crucial piece of evidence! However, BRPD stated in a press conference that they “only took a small portion of the rug because they felt that’s all that was needed”… The rug was a pretty big “area rug”… There’s no way they could have possibly known by looking at that rug with a naked eye, exactly which piece of it was needed for evidence! Also, for BRPD to say “there’s no evidence of foul play” and that “it appears to have been an accidental overdose”, BEFORE the toxicology report has even been completed, is wrong and unprofessional, in my opinion!
The article also states the following…

”UWK reached out to the Louisiana State Police
asking if they had any response to Amber's
request to investigate her husband's death and
disappearance. They repeatedly said they were
not involved in the investigation and added they
had not been contacted by Amber at this time.
Amber said because no one answered when she called the main number for LSP, she left a
voicemail and will follow-up with a formal email
requesting they take over the investigation.”

As of March 8, 2023, Amber has submitted a formal email request (A copy of that email is attached).

So, I’m hoping to get as many signatures as possible, to show LSP and everyone else involved in this investigation, that the family of Nathan Millard has plenty of supporters backing them 100% and the way they’re handling this investigation so far, is unacceptable!!! Nathan deserves justice! His wife and children deserve justice…
