My'Asia could have been another tragic story… but by the grace of God, that is not her story. I am just so GRATEFUL!
Because of the love, prayers, support, and generosity from so many people, I was finally able to obtain a lawyer to begin fighting for my daughter. For the first time in a long time, I can take a small breath and allow the legal process to move forward.
To everyone who donated, shared our story, prayed for us, or reached out with encouragement — thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped give my daughter a voice when we felt like no one was listening.
While this may be my last update for a while as things move into the legal stage, please continue to keep My'Asia in your prayers as she heals from what she experienced.
If you are still able to donate, please do. There will likely be additional legal fees. I can now focus on trying to relocate so my daughter can have a fresh start and feel safe again.
