Justice for MRIET Students: Demand Refund & Action Against Malla Reddy Institute of Engine
Justice for MRIET Students: Demand Refund & Action Against Malla Reddy Institute of Engine
The Issue
We, the students of Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering & Technology (MRIET), Hyderabad, are raising our voice against fraud, misrepresentation, and academic negligence by our college.
When we joined MRIET, we were promised:
A world-class campus and infrastructure
100% placement assistance with top-tier companies
AICTE/UGC-approved and professionally maintained facilities
However, the reality turned into a nightmare:
The original college campus was shut down mid-course without transparency
We were shifted to a poorly maintained building with substandard facilities
No placement drives or job support were ever conducted
Yet, we were still charged ₹6.4 lakhs in total fees – with no explanation, no service, and no accountability
This isn’t just unethical — it is a clear violation of student rights, and possibly illegal under the Consumer Protection Act and AICTE/UGC regulations.
We are not just seeking a refund — we are seeking justice.
🎯 We Demand:
1. A full or partial refund of our fees
2. Immediate placement assistance and job support
3. Strict action from AICTE, UGC, and the Education Ministry against MRIET
4. A public investigation into how colleges like MRIET are allowed to continue operating under such fraudulent practices
👊 Why Sign This Petition?
This isn’t just about MRIET. If we let this slide, more students across India will be trapped in similar scams. Colleges must be held accountable when they sell false dreams and destroy student futures.
📍Who Should Act?
AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education)
UGC (University Grants Commission)
Telangana State Higher Education Council
Ministry of Education, Govt of India
✍️ Sign this petition to show support for:
MRIET students who were wronged
Accountability in India’s education system
Your right to quality education and justice
Let’s be heard. Let’s make change happen.
