The Issue

Monica and Madison Moore were vibrant and beloved members of our community. On December 10th, 2023, their lives were tragically cut short in a horrific car accident on their way home from volleyball practice. They were struck by a reckless driver who ran a stop sign at high speed without even touching the brakes. Since that day, we have been anxiously waiting for justice to be served and for charges to be brought against the individual responsible for this unconscionable act.

It is not only about achieving justice for Monica and Madison but also about preventing such tragedies from recurring in our community. Their loss is a stark reminder of the dangers that traffic violators and reckless drivers pose to our roads and the urgent need for accountability. In our pursuit of justice, we hope to ensure that our local streets, filled with families and loved ones, are made safer.

Despite the clear evidence showing reckless driving, no charges have yet been brought against the driver. This inaction amplifies the grief and suffering of the Moore family and the entire community, who are left in distress and uncertainty. The legal system must take urgent steps to investigate thoroughly and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law those whose reckless behavior endangers lives, ensuring that no other family has to endure what Monica and Madison's family is experiencing.

We call on the Butler County District Attorney and local law enforcement to expedite the process and pursue charges against the driver responsible, Crystal Ivey- a known law offender.

Please sign this petition and help bring justice to Monica and Madison Moore.
