Justice for Lorena

Justice for Lorena
The Issue
EVERYONE HAS A VOICE, DON'T LET MOM'S BE SILENT.
Lorena Sprinkle worked as a manager at Sears for 6 years and was a truly dedicated employee. Sears has recently filed bankruptcy and closing its stores. Mom was due to sign her severance papers on her last day, the 11th, but in a sudden and unexpected moment had passed away while at home between shifts.
Now, as she was not alive and available to sign her severance papers on the 11th, Sears is calling her package void. It's not much, but it would help in her expenses. But more than that, it's the principle of the matter. How can a corporation going into bankruptcy deny to respect an employee who dedicated themselves for years?
Please share and sign this petition to keep spreading the word. This is an absolute disgrace and should not be ignored. She deserves the respect and common decency to be recognized. Please help me resonate her name for Sears to pay her the common decency to recognize her dedication to them. Believe me, it's a small small amount, just $2,100 before taxes. It's just the principle of the matter.
The VP of HR at Sears is reviewing her file to "determine what can or cannot be done under current policies." It may be time for us to encourage Sears to make a policy change. It's just not right and she doesn't deserve this disrespect. She would do anything for anyone. She was a loving, dedicated, beautiful, strong, tender, powerful, encouraging, forceful, enthusiastic, powerful, amazing, supportive woman.
Please help spread her story.
