Justice For Kyle Yorlets

On Thursday afternoon we all got the call we never could’ve expected. Kyle Yorlets, an exuberant, talented, wonderful, 24 year old human being was robbed, shot and killed outside of his Nashville, TN home.

Kyle was the victim of an incredibly violent, senseless act of criminal homicide led by five murderers spanning from ages 12-16. Kyle was a son, a brother, a friend, a protector and a kind, loving creative soul. He was the first person to help anyone, he was an absolute light to everyone he crossed paths with. He never knew a stranger and wholeheartedly, sincerely cared about everyone in his life. When he spoke to you, you felt as though you were the only two people in the room because he actually truly engaged and cared. He loved writing, and making music for his band Carverton. His passion showed no limits - he was ready to push every boundary to make sure his music helped and impacted people the way music had helped him.

The Nashville Defense Attorney over this case is trying to justify their numerous crimes and lessen the sentence for these five murderers by saying they’re “too young” and they “cooperated after arrest”. There is no justification that will make the reality and severity of this situation any better. Kyle had his life stolen from him far too soon by these five murderers and we want justice.

We, Kyle’s friends, peers and loved ones are outraged and taking a stand against this naive judgement and want these individuals, tried as adults to the fullest extent of the law.

Kyle and his kind, loving sprit, infectious ambition and love for others will never be forgotten.

Please stand with us and sign this petition to bring justice for Kyle Yorlets.
