 I  hope this message finds you well. I’m writing you because I’m helping my husband, Keason B. Cox, with his post-conviction case in Colorado. Working on his case has opened my eyes to the importance of forensic integrity, transparency, and accountability in the criminal justice system. It’s inspired me to learn as much as I can about wrongful convictions, criminal justice reform, and post-conviction litigation. I’m looking forward to learning from others, sharing resources, and connecting with people who care about ensuring that justice is based on truth and reliable evidence.

I am looking for advocacy,  begging for help and support and wanting to spread awareness about Keason’s case!!

For more than 22 years, Keason Cox has lived with the consequences of a conviction he continues to challenge through Colorado’s post-conviction process. His case raises serious allegations proven to have tainted forensic evidence and the integrity of evidence handling, including issues involving former CBI forensic analyst Yvonne “Missy” Woods!!. She has been indicted for roughly 1000 cases that she has sabotaged with her evil intentions including my husband’s case!!!  This woman set out to “specifically” target Keason even before this case came into play. She made it her mission to sabotage him and take his life from him! She took evidence in his case and literally turnt it upside down!! She tampered with the evidence in the crime scene, she worked closely with the Jeffco DA’s office to make sure that the evidence in the case would without a doubt entice the jury to find him guilty!! She worked very hard to make sure the jury returned a guilty verdict!!! My husband was deprived of a fair trial because forensic evidence was presented as reliable when in fact it was not. Keason’s counsel at the time could not meaningfully challenge misconduct that was concealed by analyst Ms Woods. This failure infected adversarial process and violated the 6th amendment. Newly discovered evidence requires Judicial Review. It was unknown at the time of trial and it could not have been discovered through dudiligence. It directly impacts the reliability of the material evidence used against Keason. It would likely have affected the outcome of the case. Woods has been criminally charged for the forensic work and the integrity of hundreds of criminal cases statewide and it has been called into question. 1. She altered and deleted forensic data. 2. She failed to follow laboratory protocols and procedures concealing testing irregularities and contamination. 3. And she submitted reports that did not accurately reflect testing procedures. She “LITERALLY” moved, eliminated and changed evidence in his case compromising the integrity of the forensic science of his case!! It’s unfathomable. And it’s a travesty and a tragedy!!!! So, through ongoing litigation, Keason is seeking a full and fair review of the evidence, independent forensic testing, and accountability where warranted. My husband is not asking for special treatment. He is asking for what the Colorado Forensic Science Integrity Act was designed to ensure: a full, fair, and transparent review when official findings identify wrongful conduct involving forensic evidence in a criminal case. The facts in his case regarding investigative conduct, witness testimony, and the handling of forensic evidence that he contends, when viewed together with the official findings concerning Ms. Woods, warrant a comprehensive judicial review.

“Justice for Keason: Truth Through Evidence” exists to share court filings, public records, and factual developments so the public can follow the case through evidence—not speculation.
