justice for Joy. 

My sister Joy Hayward was murdered and it’s unsolved since February 12, 2004. Joy was my big sister and a beautiful and kind person. I looked up to her in every way, we would talk on the phone to go over my math homework, she helped me get ready for my prom. Joy found her way to Chester PA to a Days Inn and was brutally attacked, assaulted, and murdered. 
Joy was from Annapolis, Maryland. Joy was the third child of our dad, Rocky (Walter Jerome Hayward III). Our dad passed less than 2 years before Joy. He had a horrible cancer, pancreatic and didn’t survive 3 months from being diagnosed. Our family suffered because of our dad being taken only to lose Joy so quickly after. 
Every road we travel down we are met with roadblocks. Last year I contacted the captain at the time Matthew Goldschmidt. He assigned a new detective promised the dna to the fbi and to outside sources like Ortham and parabon. Only to find out he was relocated to a drug unit and very unhappy about his new “gig”. Prior to that the police assigned just couldn’t solve her case.

We need to find closure. Joy wasn’t this murdering sicko only victim. There is a live female victim who was attacked 1/2 block away less than 4 months after Joys violent murder. This was told to us by the detectives and even a brief news article saying dna was linked.
